Craft Club

The object of our club is to encourage and promote Arts & Crafts in the Millbrook area. We provide Monthly meetings and Craft Fairs for mutual recreation.

We also have an annual exhibition of members’ work in which we invite the local schools to exhibit their children’s work and so involving them in the local community and they
never fail to impress.Hearts

We collect membership subs of £6.50 for the year in Jan/Feb. Members then pay £1 when they attend the monthly meeting which is usually a workshop or very occasionally a talk. Non members are welcome and pay an entry fee of £2.50.

We also hold a Charity Knitting night in August making a variety of items for good causes. So far we have made little hats, big hats, scarves, baby clothes, Dog/cat blankets and this year Twiddlemuffs for Dementia sufferers.

You don’t have to be an expert at a craft to join, just enjoy having a go!

We meet in the Village Hall on the last Wednesday in every month except December (Although our January meeting is a Xmas party for members only!) We hold a craft fair on the last Saturday in every month except Dec again in the village hall. In 2015 we celebrated our 21st Anniversary and look forward to another 21 years!
