The Millbrook Lake Mooring Association (MLMA) is responsible for the tidal part of Millbrook Lake, from the dam to Southdown Marina.
The sea bed (fundus) is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall and Mount Edgcumbe estate and is licensed (through the council) to the MLMA who control the use of moorings and other structures within the licensed area.
Moorings are generally available to local residents (please contact the MLMA Moorings Officer, firstname.lastname@example.org).
Periodic inspections are carried out to monitor the state of the lake foreshore and identify any unlicensed activity. Further information can be found on the MLMA website, www.mlma.co.uk
